Services   /   ENERGY CERTIFICATION

We offer the following services:

Certification of energy performance of buildings is done in line with the provisions of Directive No. 2002/90/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on energy performance of buildings dated December 16, 2002.

Building energy performance certification is a regulated process that determines energy consumption in a building, appraises the energy performance of the building assigning an energy performance class to the building and issuing a building energy performance certificate. There are 7 classes of energy performance: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, where A is the top class (with best performance), and G is the lowest class with worst performance. The energy performance class of new buildings (building sections) shall not be lower than C. The energy performance class of buildings (building sections) with useful areas in excess of 1,000 square metres that are undergoing overhauling may not be lower than D.

Energy performance certificates are mandatory for:

Energy audit is a thorough inspection of the current condition of the property and analysis of the results in terms of energy performance as well as proposals for economically and environmentally reasonable and socially acceptable organisational/technological measures to cut energy consumption in the building. The purpose of energy audit is to provide technological assistance to the client in the process of inspecting and assessing the property from the energy point of view and offer technological options for solutions to address the problems, which solutions will allow improving the energy efficiency of the property.

Building technological/energy passport is one of the documents of building maintenance. Under STR 01.12.07:2004, both residential and non-residential buildings with useful areas in excess of 1,000 sq. m require one, with technical passports issued to smaller buildings.
The technological/energy passport of a building states the technical, structural, energy and economical characteristics of the building as well as their changes after overhaul or reconstruction. The technological/energy passport must be kept throughout the period of using the building.
